Wedding Policies and Procedures
Please contact us for the Facilities Use Agreement and Rental Use Guidelines for rental policies and procedures. Our policies will ensure the very best celebration for you, while protecting our facility and natural environment.

Capacity
Monument View can comfortably accommodate 250 guests.  Parking is at a premium as we are in a residential area so carpooling is highly recommended!

Location
Being located in Colorado our event season begins late May and runs until mid October. [Directions to Monument View can be found here.] Parties will need to work with vendors for tents, tables, chairs and other amenities needed for the event. For a list of recommended vendors please contact Joe and Sheryl Fisher.

Rental Period and fees
Rental fees differ depending upon the size and needs of your event.  The rental period for a wedding and reception is eight hours and is allocated as follows:

• Two hours prior to the event for set up by caterers, florists, vendors, musicians and wedding party.  (not open to guests)

• Five hours of guest time (concluding at 10:30 p.m.)

• One hour following guest time for event clean up. (This can be scheduled to occur the morning after the event as long as it is completed by 10am)

• One hour for dress rehearsal can be scheduled at no additional charge a day or two before the event.

Alcohol
At any event at which alcohol is served, client must agree to hold Monument View and Joe and Sheryl Fisher harmless.  The Client assumes all liability in the event of injuries at the facility, or on the way home as a result of alcohol consumption.  The Client is responsible for ensuring that no underage drinking occurs; that no excessive drinking occurs; for escorting any persons abusing alcohol off the premises; and for any damages done to the facility.  Individual bottles of beer are not permitted.

Non-Smoking Policy
Monument View is a completely non-smoking establishment.  There is no-smoking allowed anywhere on our property and out of courtesy to our neighbors, we ask that you not smoke in front of the house or neighboring properties.

Cancellations
Monument View must be notified of cancellation in writing.  Fees are refunded as follows: prior to six months if more than half of the rental fee is paid, half the rental fee and the damage deposit will be forfeited and the remaining balance will be returned. After six months, the rental fee and the damage deposit will be forfeited. We will gladly refund the damage deposit if we are able to rebook the date.
